HALL OF SHAME AND EXPLOITATION
THE BUSHMEAT CRISIS

The local people in Africa refer to any wild animals they kill in the forest as "bushmeat."
The killing of animals for food has been going on since Man first hunted.

The Bushmeat Crisis is the commercial killing of wild animals and selling their meat for profit. Sadly, among those being killed for their meat are gorillas, chimpanzees and bonobos. The killing and slaughter is being done at such an unsustainable rate, as logging companies push further and further back into the pristine rainforests, that many people are predicting that in a few years there will be no wild gorillas, chimpanzees or bonobos living in the forests.
This is a crime against nature.

This is a crime against humanity.
Our humanity and the humanity of the apes themselves.

Karl Ammann has led the fight to expose this tragedy.

Dale Peterson has written a book called "EATING APES."

Slowly the world is responding.

Now is the time to take action.

Help save the Great Apes from extinction.
